Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd. (Head office: Taito Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akihiro Kosaka; hereinafter referred to as "Tokyo Metro") is co-hosting the "Tsutaju Meguri – Taito Ward x Tobu Railway x Tokyo Metro Tenugui Stamp Rally" with Taito Ward and Tobu Railway Co., Ltd. in 2025, with the aim of allowing people to visit attractive areas of Tokyo while using our lines.<\/p>\n

The event will be held from Friday, October 31st to Tuesday, November 25th.<\/p>\n

This stamp rally is a project where participants can complete their own original "tenugui" hand towel while visiting places associated with Tsutaya Juzaburo, who supported the publishing culture of Edo. Starting at the "Berabou Edo Taito Taiga Drama Museum" in Taito Ward, participants will be able to stamp their tenugui with stamps placed at various locations while strolling around tourist spots, mainly in the Asakusa area.<\/p>\n

To participate in the stamp rally, you will need to enter the "Berabou Edo Taito Taiga Drama Museum" (fees apply). After entering the museum, please inform the Taiga Drama Museum reception that you would like to participate in the stamp rally. You will be given a "tenugui" hand towel and a "walking map."<\/p>\n

With a walking map in hand, you can visit places associated with Tsutaya Juzaburo and get stamps to create your own one-of-a-kind original tenugui.<\/p>\n

Through this project, visitors will be able to experience the history and culture of Edo, the time when Tsutaya Juzaburo lived, and enjoy the new charms of Taito Ward.<\/p>\n

Tokyo Metro will continue to promote "City Tourism" within Tokyo and contribute to creating a lively atmosphere in the areas along its lines.<\/p>\n

1. Implementation period<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

From Friday, October 31, 2025 to Tuesday, November 25, 2025<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

2 How to participate<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

(1) When entering the "Berabou Edo Taito Taiga Drama Museum" (Taito Civic Center 9th floor), please ask the staff.<\/p>\n

Please let us know if you would like to participate in the "Tsutaju Meguri Tenugui Stamp Rally."<\/p>\n

*An admission fee is required to enter the museum.<\/p>\n

(2) After receiving the tenugui and walking map, go around the tenugui stamp locations<\/u><\/strong> and tourist spots.<\/p>\n

Enjoy sightseeing in Taito Ward.<\/p>\n

(3) Stamp anywhere on the tenugui at any of the 5 tenugui stamp locations<\/u><\/strong> .<\/p>\n

6 Notes<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

(1) "Berabou Edo Taito Taiga Drama Museum" (Sponsor: Taito Ward Taiga Drama "Berabou" Promotion Association)<\/p>\n

An admission fee is required to enter the Parliament building.<\/strong><\/p>\n

(2) Only one tenugui will be given per person.<\/p>\n

(3) You can visit the stamp locations in any order.<\/p>\n

(4) Travel expenses required for the rally will be borne by the customer.<\/p>\n

(5) Due to various circumstances, the event content may be changed or the event may be canceled.<\/p>\n

(6) We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur during participation.<\/p>\n

(7) To prevent the ink for the tenugui stamp from getting on your hands or other unintended places,<\/p>\n

Make sure it's dry.<\/p>\n

(8) Although we use quick-drying ink, the drying time of the ink may vary depending on the temperature, humidity, etc. of the day.<\/p>\n

It depends on the environment. Please note that the color may fade or transfer if it gets wet due to rain or washing.<\/p>\n
