The Geisai Mikoshi Procession, to be held on Sunday, September 6th from 12:00 to 13:00, will be an especially spectacular procession, featuring the Geisai's famous giant mikoshi (portable shrine), the Geidai Samba Club's samba party, and shop owners from Ueno Shopping Street. During the event, 1,000 yen lottery tickets that can be used in town will also be distributed.<\/p>\n

Students from the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts collaborate to create four portable shrines.
