From January 16 (Tuesday) to March 11 (Sunday), 2018, the special exhibition “Ninna-ji Temple and Only Omuro factions only – Tempei and the treasure of Shingon Buddism -” will be held at the Tokyo National Museum Heiseikan .<\/p>\n

Ninna-ji known as Omuro cherry tree is a Shingon Buddhist temple that the Emperor Koumi appealed for construction in the second year of Jonathan (886) and the next generation Emperor of Uta completed it in the fourth year of Jiwa (888). From receiving a thick devotion from successive emperors, excellent paintings, books, sculptures and handicrafts are transmitted. The Amitabha Nyoro Seikatsu (National Treasure), the Honjyo at the time of its creation, is the work of the best workshop at the time.<\/p>\n

In addition, Takakura Emperor Heng Hen (National Treasure) tells the deep involvement with the Imperial Family. In this exhibition, we introduce the masterpieces that are transferred to those Ninna-ji terraces. There are about 790 temples nationwide in Otomiya temple with Ninna-ji Temple as the principal mountain, and there are not many excellent Buddha statues. Senju Kannon Bodhisattva seatbelt (National Treasure), known as the masterpiece of Tenpyei sculpture, is released for the first time in Tokyo since the opening day of the Edo period, and a valuable opportunity to see many secret Buddhas that can not be usually witnessed Approximately 170 cases including 66 Buddha statues will be released. At Ninna Temple, demolition repair of Kannondo is currently under way.<\/p>\n

Although Kannondo is not open to the public because it is a training ground, in this exhibition, 33 exhibits of Buddha Buddha are exhibited and mural paintings in the house are reproduced by high-definition images, and in general the dining halls that can not be touched You can feel the harsh air.<\/p>\n
