At the Tokyo National Museum, we will hold a special exhibition "Kyoto Great Benefit Temple Pleasure and Choning only" for the period from October 2 (Tuesday) to December 9 (Sun)<\/strong> in 2018<\/strong> . <\/p>\n

Purpose of holding <\/h3>\n

Kyoto's big<\/strong> reign temple (Daiohyo Osaji) , familiar to the name of the Senbon Shakado,<\/strong> is an old temple opened by Yoshinori in 1220 (Kakuho 2 years) in the Kamakura period. With the cooperation of people, the view of the temple was gradually adjusted, after that it was certified as a temple temple that got a seal from the Emperor, boasting a high standard.

Exterior view of Great Buddha temple<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Bonjin is<\/strong> one of the masterpieces of his lineery, "Buddha Buddha Seated Satchel" created by the pupil of Choseoun, the first pupil of the row<\/strong> . Standing in "Buddha Buddha Seated Sacred Image" is the statue of ten monks who were chosen from Akita's Buddha's disciples. This "ten great disciple statue" is<\/strong> known as the work<\/strong> of the last years of Chosei<\/strong> . Besides this, it is rare that the "Hokkaido Bodhisattva statue" (Rokkannon Bosatsu statue) by Hisagi Setagi (disciples) of later years of fortune<\/strong> is all left behind I guess. <\/p>\n

In this exhibition, a lot of masterpieces of 'Keioi' transmitted to these Great Buddhist temples will be introduced. You can enjoy the Kamakura sculpture competition by Cheong Kyung of the same period and the famous castle of the Forbidden Next Generation. <\/p>\n

Highlight 1<\/strong> "Gyeongjin Superstar" Chi Kei, Keikei, row-peculiar masterpieces slide! <\/h3>\n

Senbon Shakado \u00b7 Great Buddha Temple is widely popular as a treasure trove of Kamakura sculpture. In this exhibition, in commemoration of the 800th anniversary of the opening<\/strong> in 2020, the masterpieces of the Buddhist tea boasted by the temple will be released<\/strong> in one place<\/strong> . <\/p>\n

Highlights 2<\/strong> The secret Buddha "Buddha Nyorai Seiza" released for the first time outside the temple and the masterpiece "Ten Great Disciple Statues" of the last years of Chungking are displayed in the same space specially! <\/h3>\n

"Buddha Buddha Seated Sacrament" (Important Cultural Property), which is the Honjyo of Great Bounty Temple and is only open to the public several times in the same temple, is one of the few valuable Buddha statues left by disciples of Jeonju.

Highlight 3<\/strong> First in history! You can remove the back of Important Cultural Property "Statue of Bodhisattva Bodhisattva" in the second half of the exhibition, and watch the back up close! <\/h3>\n

The disciple of Uniqing \u00b7 Higo Keikei's work "Rokkaron Bodhisattva statue" is the only Rokkoin statue designated as an important cultural property. Both the pedestal and the light back are left with the original one, and every corner of its back is precisely engraved. <\/p>\n

In this exhibition, not only can you see 360 \u200b\u200bdegrees of the "Rokkisho Bodhisattva statue", but in the first half of<\/strong> the period (~ October 28) was the original appearance<\/strong> with a spotlight, the second half<\/strong> of the exhibition (October 30 -) With the appearance<\/strong> you removed,<\/strong> you can see the beautiful back as close as possible. <\/p>\n
