The Japanese garden located in the north of TOKYO NATIONAL MUSEUM Honkan has been opened to the public until Sunday, December 6 2015. Please enjoy strolling in the beautiful Japanese garden where wild birds such as ducks and wagtails are singing. This is also the best season for enjoying autumn leaves such as that of gingko and maple trees.<\/p>\n

You can also enjoy drinks and snack foods at the temporary cafe “MOTOYA EXPRESS.” We hope you enjoy the traditional style Japanese garden.<\/p>\n

\u3010Garden Entrances\u3011
\nThere are two entrances located:
\n– beside Restaurant Yurinoki.
\n– between Honkan and Heiseikan.<\/p>\n

\u3010Fees\u3011Admission fee to the museum is required.
\nAdult: 520 yen
\nPost secondary school student: 410 yen
\nStudent of Grade 12 or lower: Free
\nPerson of under 18 years old: Free
\n70-year-old or older person: Free<\/p>\n

\nPlease note following two things:
\n– No one is allowed to enter the teahouse.
\n– The garden is closed in case of bad weather.<\/p>\n
