In the first half of the exhibition, the works were introduced focusing on the "The Hague School" who led Van Gogh.
\n Many people may not be familiar with the Hague school, but the painters gathered in the seaside town of The Hague in the southwestern Netherlands, whose naturalistic landscapes and genre paintings are the forerunners of modern European paintings. The <\/p>\n

Van Gogh, who loved Millet, sympathized with the Hague who described peaceful daily life on the stage of nature, and asked Maufe<\/strong> , the central figure, to teach and interact. It can be said that Van Gogh's first step as a \u201cpeasant painter\u201d began here. <\/p>\n
