On August 20th (Sat) and 21st (Sun), the Ueno Okachimachi area's summer tradition "Shitamachi Ueno Furusato Bon Odori Festival" will be held for the first time in three years at the square in front of the Okachimachi south exit station. The event, which started in 2017 as a place for exchanges between shopping streets, neighborhood associations, and companies around Ueno Okachimachi, will be held for the fourth time this year (*Cancelled in 2020 and 2021). With a great location that can be viewed from within the Yamanote Line, there will be an artist stage, hands-on kids corner, Fukushima gourmet stalls, and more for 2 days that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike!<\/strong><\/p>\n
