\n Cubism, which boldly challenged conventional beauty and opened up new possibilities for visual expression, had a great impact on young artists gathering in Paris, and sparkled in various fields including decoration and design, architecture, and stage art. It spread throughout the world during that time, and has had a decisive influence on the diverse development of art since then.
\n In this exhibition , a large number of valuable works that are indispensable in discussing the history of Cubism will come to Japan, and more than 50 of them will be exhibited in Japan for the first time<\/strong> . The rich development and dynamism of Cubism, which became the true starting point of 20th century art and opened new horizons, will be presented through about 130 works, including sculptures, drawings, prints, videos, and materials, centered on paintings by about 40 major artists. to introduce.<\/p>\n

    The highlight of this exhibition is the unprecedented number of works, 12 Picasso and 15 Black. All the works are first-class, but Braque's important work "Large Nude" (1907-08, first exhibited in Japan), which was inspired by Picasso's primitive nudes, and Picasso's Cubism representative of Center Pompidou.
