SALSA is Spanish and means SAUCE in English. The origin of the word SALSA is SAL (salt in Latin). Other words related to salt include SALAD, SALAMI, SAUSAGE, and SALARY, and the word salary comes from the fact that salt was paid as a salary in ancient Rome.<\/p>\n
