Sakura Information on April 3, 2015

April 3, 2015: Cherry Trees in Ueno Park Cherry flowers are in full bloom, and we can see some petals are starting to fall, one the most beautiful moments of cherry flowers.     Thank God, It’s Friday! There were so many visitors enjoying the Ueno Park!   Other than popular Yoshino cherry, there are many different types of cherry trees in the park. Many visitors were taking picture of this cherry tree; look at the bright pink flowers! It seems we can enjoy cherry flowers for some more days! Perfect seating for Hanami banquet! Ready to have a good time?

April 2, 2015: Cherry Trees in Ueno Park They are staying in full bloom! The picture above and two pictures below are cherry trees along the walkway around the Shinobazu Pond.   They are so beautiful, aren’t they?   They will stay in full bloom for few more days, and “Ueno Sakura Festa 2015” is to be held from Friday April.3 to Sunday April 5. April 1, 2015: Cherry Trees in Ueno Park They are in full bloom right now! The picture below on the left is cherry trees around Shinobazu Pond. The pink flowers in full bloom are so pretty and visible from afar! The picture on the right was taken 3 days ago; we can easily tell the difference!   All the cherry trees in Ueno Park are beautifully flowering!   Please thoroughly enjoy your visit to Ueno Park!

March 30, 2015: Cherry Trees in Ueno Park Most cherry trees are in full bloom right now! Even though it was Monday, there were many visitors enjoying the park from the morning. The cherry flowers are just so pretty; please enjoy the beauty by looking at flowers closely and viewing the entire trees.

March 27, 2015: Cherry Trees in Ueno Park. So far, about 60% of Yoshino cherry in Ueno Park were in full bloom. There were so many people visiting the park on that warm sunny day, and we saw not a few groups enjoying “Hanami” party! Look at groups of people enjoying Hanami! Having banquet under flowering cherry tree is so tasteful and unique to Japan.

March 27, 2015: Cherry trees in Ueno Park. Many Yoshino cherry in the sunny areas are blooming, and there are more and more viewers coming to the park! Of course, there are tourists from overseas; it is so interesting to hear many different languages at one place. Weeping cherry located close to “Kaeru-no-funsui (frog fountain)” is now in full bloom! It is gorgeous and definitely worth seeing! The areas for Hanami party are available from today! There have already been some people setting up their party spaces!

Branches have been showing more pink buds, with a few beautifully flowering. Please look at the picture of Yoshino cherry by the Shinobazu Pond. The branches gradually becoming pink tell us the arrival of spring.

March 25, 2015: Cherry trees in Ueno Park. As shown in the picture above, most cherry trees are not ready to bloom yet. Only Kanzakura (winter-flowering cherry) trees are showing its beautiful flowers. Expecting a number of people to come to Ueno Park for “Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) party,” big trash boxes for different types of wastes have already been set.
