Matsuzakaya Ueno store will be holding a "Tanabata & Summer Sweets" event from June 27th (Friday) to July 29th (Tuesday). Tanabata is the once-a-year event on July 7th (Monday). Want to enjoy a seasonal event at home? We have prepared adorable "Tanabata Sweets" inspired by starry skies and the Milky Way to satisfy that desire! They look gorgeous and are sure to satisfy your mood and stomach! There will also be "Summer Sweets" that can only be purchased now. Chilled? Freezed? There are also sweets that can be enjoyed in a summery way. Summer is finally here! This is a Tanabata-only shortcake decorated with twinkling stars and five types of fruit.

<Cafe Comsa> Orihime Peach and Fig Cake (1 piece) 1,300 yen / 2nd floor

This cake is made with plenty of fragrant, sweet peaches and crunchy figs, beautifully decorated with herbal tea jelly. It is based on mascarpone and is inspired by the princess Orihime.

This cake is inspired by the star Hikoboshi, and is made with a cream cheese base that combines juicy and sweet melon, smooth mango, and honey lemon jelly, and is decorated with mango jelly to represent the sparkling Milky Way.
