A pop-up store based on "The Mountain Detective," a completely original manuscript based on the popular web comic "The Tanuki and the Fox," is opening!
Geeniest Inc. (Head office: 5-3-11 Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kaneko Takataka) will be holding a pop-up shop called "Tanuki to Kitsune ~Mountain Detective🍎~" featuring completely original illustrations of the wildly popular web comic "Tanuki to Kitsune" (hereafter "Tanuki to Kitsune"), which will tour seven venues across Japan from Friday, August 22, 2025.

Something happened one day in the mountains.
As the raccoon and the fox were playing as usual, they found a golden leaf in the forest.
Curious, the two of them wonder, "What kind of leaf is this?" and decide to investigate it with the help of the other animals in the forest.
A raccoon and a fox become detectives and pursue mysterious mysteries.
