An international exchange festival with the theme of "Salsa" (meaning sauce in English) where you can enjoy food, music, dance, and art.
The Caribbean and Latin American Street Executive Committee (Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Mori Junichiro) will be holding "Salsa Street 2025 -Ueno de Bueno-" on Saturday, October 4th and Sunday, October 5th at the Ueno Park Fountain Square in Taito-ku, Tokyo.
40 food and drink booths, 14 shop booths, total 54 booths
We are pleased to announce that the details for the event at Ueno Park, which will be the third venue this year, have been decided for the 10th anniversary in 2025.
"Salsa" means sauce in English and is made by frying and simmering various ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, and spices.
When you hear the word "salsa," some people may think of sauces and dressings, while others may first think of passionate dancing and upbeat music.
The concept of "Salsa Street" is to encourage interaction between people of all nationalities, generations, and genders, just like a sauce made from multiple ingredients.

Japan-China-America Exchange Year
The year 2025 marks the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and five Central American countries (Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica).
Japan and the Central American Integration System have designated 2025 as the "Japan-Central America Friendship Year" and are holding commemorative events to deepen exchanges through the cultures of member countries. Salsa Street, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been recognized as one of these events.
This is the 10th anniversary of Salsa Street, which is supported by many people every year.
