Yushima, Okachimachi and Ueno become one giant stage.
The YOUFES Executive Committee will hold "YOUFES2025," a traveling music festival taking place at eight stores in the Yushima, Okachimachi, and Ueno areas on Sunday, November 23, 2025 (national holiday). Based on the concept of "the downtown area itself is the stage," the festival will be developed as a block party-style festival that unites the city and music culture.
■ What is YOUFES?
YOUFES is a block party-style music festival that takes place throughout the Ueno, Yushima, and Okachimachi areas. Live performances are held simultaneously at multiple stores throughout the city, and audiences can freely move between venues to enjoy the music and the atmosphere of the city. It continues to evolve as a one-of-a-kind event where the individuality and music culture of the downtown areas of Yushima, Okachimachi, and Ueno intersect.
■ Theme for 2025: "MUSIC TO THE DOWNTOWN"
This year's theme is "MUSIC TO THE DOWNTOWN."
More music in the downtown area. With that in mind, we will further strengthen our reach to the younger generation, fusing the energy of a real venue with the spread of online presence. We will develop this into a new "downtown festival" where artists, the city, culture and people intertwine.
