The food festival "Hometown Tokyo Support Festival: Local Gourmet Hot Pot vs. Delicious Dashi Oden in Ueno 2026," which will heat up Tokyo's winter, will be held for 10 days from Friday, February 20th to Sunday, March 1st, 2026, at Shinobazu Pond in Ueno Park. Carrying on the excitement of the "Gyoza vs. Fried Chicken Festival," which was a huge success during Golden Week, this time the ultimate showdown will be between the winter staples "Hot Pot" and "Delicious Dashi Oden"!
The wildly popular "Gyoza vs. Fried Chicken" battle during Golden Week has been scaled up for the winter with "Warm Hot Pot vs. Delicious Dashi Oden"! Warm hot pots like Hakata Motsunabe, Fukaya Negi Chicken Hot Pot, and Chanko Hot Pot, made with carefully selected ingredients from all over Japan, will be brought together with delicious dashi oden dishes like Sapporo Miso Oden and Dosankokobu Dashi Oden, boasting carefully simmered broth. Whether you're a hot pot fan, oden lover, or even someone who enjoys hot sake, there's a wide variety of local dishes to satisfy everyone! While enjoying this food battle with family and friends in the chilly winter air, you can also enjoy live music and performances on the outdoor stage (see the Live Details page for details).
