From April 1st (Wed) to 6th (Mon), Matsuzakaya Ueno Store will host the "Tohoku Products Fair" on the 6th floor event hall, bringing together the charms of food and crafts from the six prefectures of Tohoku. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami, and will feature the popular cod fry from the Sanriku Kingdom's "Squid Prince," who has been featured in the media! A total of 52 brands will be gathered, including 16 brands making their debut, offering Tohoku's proud seafood bento boxes, popular local sweets, Tohoku's famous confectionery, traditional crafts, and more. The "Squid Prince" from the Sanriku Kingdom, who has been making headlines in the media, is now offering fried cod!

Following the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, the Sanriku Kingdom's "Squid Prince," a well-known figure who promotes Sanriku seafood in Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture, proudly recommends "The Prince's Luxurious and Blissful Cod Fry." The cod fry burger, a collaboration between the fluffy texture of the cod fry and Morioka's soul food "Fukuda Bread," is making its debut at Matsuzakaya Ueno store!
