The Matsuzakaya Ueno store will hold an exhibition "Art Gendai" on the theme of diversifying contemporary society from November 10th (Wednesday) to November 16th (Tuesday) at the 7th floor art gallery of the main building. In recent years, interest in appreciating and purchasing contemporary art has increased, and the art market is booming. In this exhibition, more than 40 unique works, from conservative works of young artists living in the present age to innovative works, will be exhibited and sold. A total of nine young artists, including Ando Toshiki, Takuma Ozaki, and NISHINO HARUKA, who created works by regarding the world where various values are mixed as chaos or diversification, express the chaos of modern society.
