This year marks the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the city park system! Toei Subway x Tokyo Metro x Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association “History Tour Stamp Rally to Commemorate the 150th Anniversary of Urban Parks by Toei Subway and Tokyo Metro” is being held!

October 12, 2023 (Thursday) – November 5, 2023 (Sunday) Original goods gift from three parties

Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Director-General of Transportation: Hideo Kuga, hereinafter referred to as "Toei Subway"), Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd., Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association (Executive Committee Member of the 150th Anniversary of the Tokyo Metropolitan Park System) The Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association") will hold the "Toei Subway/Tokyo Metro City Park 150th Anniversary Historical Stamp Rally" in collaboration with Toei Subway x Tokyo Metro x Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association on Thursday, October 12, 2023. The event will be jointly held from November 5th (Sunday) .

This stamp rally will be held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Japan's urban park system*1, which began in 1873. Visit Ueno Onshi Park, Asukayama Park, Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center along the Toei Subway/Tokyo Metro lines, Shibakoen Station on the Toei Subway, and Monzen-Nakacho Station on the Toei Subway/Tokyo Metro and collect stamps to be among the first 3,000 people to collect stamps. We will give away a set of original goods from Toei Subway, Tokyo Metro, and Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association. When participating, the “Toei Subway/Tokyo Metro One-Day Pass'' is convenient and economical, allowing you to ride the Toei Subway and Tokyo Metro as many times as you like in one day.

Details are as follows.

*1 In 1873 (Meiji 6), Japan's urban park system began with the Daijokan Proclamation (No. 16), and parks were created all over Japan. The first five parks in Tokyo were Ueno Park, Shiba Park, Asukayama Park, Asakusa Park (currently Sensoji Temple), and Fukagawa Park (Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine).

Details of “History Stamp Rally to Commemorate the 150th Anniversary of Urban Parks by Toei Subway/Tokyo Metro”

1 Implementation period

From Thursday, October 12, 2023 to Sunday, November 5, 2023

2 Participation fee

Free (Customers are responsible for the transportation costs required for the stamp rally.)

3 How to participate

(1) At racks at Toei Subway stations, Tokyo Metro stations (excluding some stations), and parks where stamps are installed.

Obtain a special stamp mount.

(2) Collect stamps by visiting the 5 stamp locations.

(3) Collect stamps from all 5 locations and present the special stamp mount at the achievement award exchange location.

Achievement awards will be presented to 3,000 people.

*The order in which you visit the stamp locations is free.

*Stamps are valid even if you do not collect them in one day during the implementation period.

*Distribution will end as soon as the special stamp mount runs out.

*Special stamp mounts will be distributed at Kitasenju Station (Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line), Nakameguro Station, Nakano Station, Nishi-Funabashi Station, Yoyogi-Uehara Station, Wako-shi Station, Shibuya Station (Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line/Fukutoshin Line), Meguro Please note that this service will not be held at Oshiage Station (Toei Subway Asakusa Line) or Shinjuku Station (Toei Subway Shinjuku Line).

(1) Around the Toei Subway Mita Line Shibakoen Station “A4 Exit Ticket Gate” (outside the ticket gate)

(2) Near the Toei Subway/Tokyo Metro Monzen-Nakacho Station "Ticket gate for Monzen-Nakacho intersection (Tokyo Metro Tozai Line)" (outside the ticket gate)

*Stamp installation time is from 9:00 to 17:00. However, only on Asukayama Park Management Office, on weekdays.

*Achievement awards can only be exchanged once per person during the period.

*Achievement awards will be distributed once they are gone.
