The second "Ameyoko Sakura Festival" will be held at Ameyoko Shopping Street in Ueno, Tokyo from March 13th (Wednesday) to April 7th (Sunday), 2024. At the event, a total of 24 cherry blossom trees will be displayed inside Ameyoko, and digital coupons will be distributed to help people shop at Ameyoko at great deals, primarily to support young people. A live painting event by contemporary artists is also scheduled to be held on March 20th (Wednesday).

◆Digital coupon◆
We are distributing digital coupons that can be used at participating Ameyoko stores. A total of 27 stores participated, including long-established clothing stores and cafes. This is an electronic coupon that can be used by simply showing your smartphone screen at the store. The coupons will be distributed on the “Ameyoko Style'' website, a web media that communicates the charms of Ameyoko from a unique perspective based on the local community. Not only digital, but also paper flyers are being distributed in front of the Ameyoko Nigiwai Statue.
