Held at Ueno Onshi Park from Friday, August 16th to Sunday, August 25th, 2024!
The Ueno Chuo Dori Shopping District Association will hold the “Uenode. Panda Beer Festa 2024,” a local revitalization event themed on drinking, eating and playing, with the aim of supporting regional recovery, developing the community and enhancing culture, at the Ueno Onshi Park Fountain Square from August 16th (Fri) to August 25th (Sun), 2024. In addition to offering ice-cold beer, local gourmet food from around the country and local shopping streets, there will also be local performing arts and live performances on stage.
And this time, we will also be carrying out a collaborative project with the welfare sector. We will be collaborating with Ueno Chuo Dori Shopping District, welfare, and design companies. In cooperation with the Taito Ward Social Welfare Council, the art drawn by users of a facility for people with disabilities in the ward, based on the image of this event, will be redesigned as T-shirts for this event by Grip Grapp LLC, a design company in the ward that runs the social design brand NODD. The facility is a Type B business that supports continued employment, and the current monthly labor cost is 15,563 yen (Tokyo average for fiscal year 2021, see Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare materials). A portion of the sales of this event T-shirt will be donated to each facility. Please purchase an event T-shirt at the venue and help liven up the event.
