A long-established Japanese confectionery shop in Kyoto has released a summer limited edition product, Namafu Uiro! Matsuzakaya Ueno Store – Latest Gourmet

Hoppe Town, the food floor of Matsuzakaya Ueno, is holding events with popular shops that change weekly. Starting on July 24th (Wednesday), Kyoto’s uiro specialty store Goken Toiraya will be releasing their summer-only “Namafu Uiro”! Also, to coincide with Doyo no Ushi Day on July 24th (Wednesday), Tenoji and Noboritei will be releasing eel bento for a limited time. We introduce the seven hottest gourmet brands at Matsuzakaya Ueno.

Live eels sourced from major domestic production areas are carefully prepared by skilled craftsmen and grilled to perfection.

We use Mikawa Isshiki brand eel from Aichi Prefecture, grilled until plump in a sauce that has been handed down for generations.

A Kyoto-based uiro specialty store has released a summer-only product called “Namafu Uiro” and “Namafu Manju” made with lightly sweetened smooth bean paste.

These fluffy and chewy malasadas have an addictive harmony with the custard cream.

Made with Yonezawa beef, this crispy croquette is full of flavor.

This dish is made with moist and soft bread, and is filled with a generous amount of carefully selected egg all the way to the edges.

Kantaya: Tuna sushi (1 serving) 2,160 yen / 1st basement floor Hoppe Town Exhibition Hall

Both nigiri and rolled tuna sushi are made using tuna grown with the bounty of nature, and are very filling.
