July 23rd (Wed) to August 5th (Tue), 2025 Matsuzakaya Ueno Store, 1st basement floor and 1st floor Hoppe Town event space

Hoppe Town, the food floor of Matsuzakaya Ueno, is holding events featuring popular shops that change weekly. Starting on July 23rd (Wednesday), Kimi no Mama will be opening a stall. The soft, moist Baumkuchen has a familiar taste similar to tamagoyaki (rolled egg). Kimo's Hawaii will also be selling malasadas. We recommend trying these Hawaiian sweets to easily get into the tropical mood. There will also be two weeks full of seafood delicacies! Don't miss out on the delicacies that can be enjoyed with a cold beer in the hot summer, such as grilled squid and fried octopus! We will introduce the eight seasonal gourmet brands at Matsuzakaya Ueno.

<Kimi no Mama> Kimi no Mama Whole (1 piece) 1,890 yen / Japanese and Western sweets event space on the first floor

We use a lot of eggs and bake it to have a fluffy and moist texture. It's a baumkuchen with a nostalgic and familiar taste, almost like a rolled egg.
