Atre Ueno, operated by Atre Co., Ltd., will be holding a "PANDA CARNIVAL" event from Friday, January 2, 2026 to Saturday, February 28, 2026, to express gratitude to the twin giant pandas Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo, as well as hopes for their future. The main visual for this event, created by illustrator Yu Nagaba, expresses gratitude. During the event, the event will also feature a photo exhibition looking back on Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei's growth, a print sticker machine that allows visitors to preserve memories in special frames, limited-time panda goods, and a wide selection of panda-themed gourmet food. A limited-edition novelty gift campaign will also be held.

Ever since I first encountered pandas at Ueno Zoo as a child, they have always been a source of comfort to me. I even went to China to see them when I was a university student. I am truly happy to be able to work with such beloved pandas. I will be sad to see them return to their hometown, but I drew this with the joyous feeling of seeing them off. Lei Lei, Xiao Xiao, take care!
Atre Ueno x Tokyo Metropolitan Ueno Zoo Xiao Xiao & Lei Lei Photo Exhibition
We will look back on Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei's growth over the past four years using official photographs from Ueno Zoo. We will also feature special interviews with the zoo director and zookeepers, and have set up a message board.
