Background and purpose of the initiative
PARCO is promoting the use of XR as an experience-based medium that adds new appeal to commercial facilities, and is currently promoting various use trials mainly at events. In addition, we are promoting the "NEWVIEW Project" for the purpose of discovering / nurturing XR artists in collaboration with PsychicVR Lab Co., Ltd. and Loftwork Inc.
This time, we will take on the challenge of providing new value by utilizing XR technology for the three initiatives of events, space production, and local collaboration that are being undertaken at commercial facilities.
[Event] Panda Yokocho-AR photo exhibition where you can meet Xiang Xiang on your smartphone-

The town of Ueno will be filled with pandas to commemorate the birthday of the giant panda Xiang Xiang of Ueno Zoo and the twin panda Xiang Xiang Ray Ray in June. PARCO_ya Ueno, like Shanshan, will hold an AR photo exhibition by borrowing photos from the panda blog "Daily Panda" by people who continue to visit Ueno Zoo every day to commemorate the 5th anniversary of this year.
Feature 1: By utilizing AR, it has become possible to display many photographs regardless of the size of the venue.

Feature 2: Expand the range of production by using AR technology from windows to connected cities.
[Local collaboration] Panda Coloring Museum

With the cooperation of local nursery schools, kindergartens and applicants, you can browse panda coloring pages by children and applicants on AR. Approximately 140 original coloring books will decorate the connecting passages.
Feature 1: Original coloring book colors the space of the connecting passage.
Feature 2: You can download the smartphone wallpaper using your own coloring book to everyone who cooperated in coloring.
