Ginza Lecan
Ginza Lecan was founded in 1974. We have always continued to serve the best French cuisine of the era in a restaurant that stands out with its gorgeous Art Nouveau and L'Equin Red colors. Its history and quality are proven by the achievements of successive chefs. Furthermore, we have over 15,000 carefully selected wines in stock, and many famous sommeliers have also been born.
49 years in Ginza 4-chome, a town of tradition and innovation. Ginza Lecan, which can be said to be a symbol of Ginza, reopened in June 2017 after about two years of construction. The sophisticated champagne gold main dining room has been designed with attention to detail, including the chandelier, carpet, and marble and sycamore wood walls, creating a sophisticated space that will make you forget the hustle and bustle of Ginza. On the 2nd basement floor, we have a waiting bar based on "Lecan Red" that gives you a sense of the history of the old store. This restaurant has been loved by many fans for many years.

Lecan Group New initiatives towards 50th anniversary
BYO introduced at Brasserie Lequin
Brasserie Lecan Ueno started a new style, “BYO”, in February of this year. We have created a restaurant where you can feel free to bring your own wine and enjoy it in a lively manner, with no corkage fees, corkage fees, or table charges. You can also enjoy beer and original cocktails other than wine. The cuisine is full of authentic French and bistro meals prepared by Chef Suetake, who honed his skills at the Ginza Lecan main store. It is already being used by many customers as a place for socializing and relaxing, not only for French and bistro lovers, but also for wine lovers and people in the industry.
Opening a wine shop as a new dining format with a wine import company
On Saturday, December 16th, we will be opening “Wine Shop Lecan'' in collaboration with FIC Wine Division (Fuji Industries Co., Ltd.) in a location adjacent to Brasserie Lequin. The wines carefully selected by the Lequin Sommelier team are mainly French wines, with a wide range of wines starting from the 3,000 yen range. As we are directly managed by importers, we have a highly cost-effective product selection and staff with specialized knowledge. This is a wine shop that introduces recommended bottles. For Brasserie Lequin, which has introduced BYO, the adjacent wine shop functions as the store's wine list, eliminating inventory management tasks and overstock issues, and providing a constantly fresh and educational experience for the on-site sommelier-qualified staff. As a bistro, we can deliver wine to our customers. As a BYO wine shop, you can of course bring your own wine to Brasserie L'Equin, and our location has good access to Ueno Station, making it a wine shop that you can feel free to drop by at home or as a gift.
Share L'écrin Consulting division established
The Lecan Group, celebrating its 50th anniversary, has accumulated the restaurant know-how and the knowledge, skills, and experience of its chefs and service personnel, making it an asset greater than its history. We share the brand "L'écrin" not only within our group, but also within the same industry where we can passionately work together, as well as with like-minded people in various industries. We launched this division with the hope of contributing even a little to the development of the industry both inside and outside of the industry while sharing it. We will also do our best to create a flow where all staff working at the Lecan Group can work and learn freely, and share happiness with customers, families, and many others. .
The scope of our business is wide-ranging, from proposing pairing drink menus, developing menus, planning tie-up menus at events, and proposing recipes for promoting processed products and regional specialties. Our aim is to share our strengths and brand.
