Ueno’s first large-scale Christmas event will be held for 25 days from December 1st (Sun) to December 25th (Wed) at Hakamakoshi Square in Ueno Park! Cheers to Christmas food and live music while admiring the Christmas tree!
The Ueno Tourism Association (Taito-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Nagaoka Nobuhiro) will be holding Ueno’s first large-scale Christmas event, the “UENO Christmas Market,” at the urban oasis of Hakamakoshi Square in Ueno Park.

The symbol of Christmas, the tree, will be at the center of Ueno Park’s Hakamakoshi Square! It will be illuminated at night.
There will also be a cute photo spot with pandas and the whole square will be lit up to give you a Christmas feeling.
It creates a space where you can feel at ease.
②Panda Market
Framed stamp “Ueno Zoo Giant Panda Family of 5”
A limited number of framed stamps, “The Ueno Zoo Giant Panda Family of Five,” are on sale. The stamps are filled with the cutest shots of Ri Ri, Shin Shin, Xiang Xiang, Xiao Xiao, and Lei Lei.
(Limited quantities will be available for sale from 2:00 p.m. every day during the event)
Other panda goods and panda gacha machines are also available for purchase.
3. Christmas food, Christmas LIVE
There are plenty of Christmas-themed menus, including champagne, beer, chicken, and international food!
Various artists will perform live on the special stage every day.
Enjoy a winter evening with champagne, delicious food, and a view of the tree and live music.

In addition, this time the event will be co-hosted with KADOKAWA’s “Christmas Walker Festival – Food and Drinks to Color the Christmas Eve – supported by Traveling Maruefu Yokocho,” which will also be held at Shinobazu Pond in Ueno Park from December 20th (Friday) to the 25th (Wednesday).
It will be a month where you can feel the Christmas spirit all around Ueno Park.
