The reopening sale will be held until the third round
Suzunoya (Head Office: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will reopen its Ueno main store on November 28th. The store will take a new step on the 7th floor of the Ueno Fugetsudo main store building, next to the Suzunoya Ueno main store building, which has a history of 77 years.
In conjunction with this, the Ueno main store will be holding three rounds of reopening celebrations. The first round will be held from Thursday, November 28th to Sunday, December 1st, the second round from Thursday, December 12th to Monday, December 16th, and the third round from Friday, December 20th to Monday, December 23rd.

Suzunoya Ueno Main Store was founded in Ueno Hirokoji in 1947. On September 16, 2024, we will close our operations at the original location after 77 years of history, and will reopen on the 7th floor of the building adjacent to the old store. We will be making a new start in Ueno Hirokoji, a place that holds a special meaning for Suzunoya.

When we closed down and relocated, we received a lot of attention from the media, including Nippon Television’s “news every.”. The old store, which had been supported by many customers over the years, including three generations of customers and customers who had been coming for more than 30 years, closed its doors amid much regret.
