GAVRIFOOD Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasuhiro Onuma) will open the first “Tokyo Tonkatsu Gabuu” store in Ueno at 11:30 a.m. on April 25, 2025, with the concept of “You’ll never go back to ordinary tonkatsu.”
This tonkatsu brand was created by a former executive of BAKE Co., Ltd., a confectionery company known for its BAKE Cheese Tart and PRESS BUTTER SAND, teaming up with the young chef of Tonkatsu Kitai, which is ranked 5th nationwide in Tabelog’s tonkatsu category.
The highest quality brand pork is cut into thick slices, the bread crumbs are made to order, and the food is cooked slowly and carefully at a low temperature.
We also pay special attention to the rice, cooking it fluffy in a kamado (a rice cooker), which not only pairs well with pork cutlets, but also goes extremely well with eggs, minced meat cutlets, and rice.
