What is "Shosoin THE SHOW"?
Shosoin is a "treasure house of miracles" that has preserved and passed down 9,000 treasures above ground for nearly 1,300 years.
This exhibition, supervised by the Shosoin Office of the Imperial Household Agency, is the first immersive exhibition to allow visitors to fully experience the beauty of the treasures and the history of Shosoin spanning over a thousand years. The exhibition space combines ultra-high definition images projected on a giant screen with replicas that recreate the appearance of the Shosoin treasures at the time of their creation, providing an experience of being immersed in the beauty of the treasures.
Furthermore, you can experience the miracle of 1,300 years with your whole body through the exhibition of the legendary fragrance "Ranjatai," which has been reproduced for the first time in history, and newly composed music using the sounds of treasures such as the "Raden Shitan Gogen Biwa."
*The actual Shosoin treasures will not be on display.
*This exhibition will be held at the Osaka Museum of History from Saturday, June 14th to Sunday, August 24th.
