JHAT Co., Ltd., operator of the hotel MONday Group, will open "GRAND MONday Ueno Okachimachi" as a new facility for the luxury brand "GRAND MONday" in the Ueno Okachimachi area of Tokyo on May 1, 2026.
This facility recreates the spirit of craftsmanship that has been rooted in this "town of artisans" since the Edo period, along with modern technology.In addition to spacious guest rooms that are all suites, it also features a large public bath and a fitness gym, providing an exceptional stay experience for guests from Japan and abroad.

◆The concept of "GRAND MONday"

"GRAND MONday" is a premium brand with the concept of "a fusion of sophisticated luxury and modern Japanese style." As the successor to "GRAND MONday Ginza," which opened in 2025, it will offer a more spacious and special space, as well as sophisticated services that allow you to feel the warmth of people.

Unique design – Reconstructing tradition

While inheriting the "spirit of craftsmanship" of Ueno Okachimachi, the warmth of wood, the light of Japanese paper, and the aged beauty of copper plates have been recreated with modern technology (such as the use of LED technology to create the illusion of Nishikigoi carp swimming on the water's surface).
In addition, the delicate vertical sliding screens in the guest rooms allow soft light into the rooms, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere.We have pursued exceptional Japanese relaxation within the traditions rooted in the land.
