In May 2026, we will be holding the "Hometown Tokyo Support Festival: The 2nd Local Gourmet Gyoza VS Karaage Festival in Ueno Shinobazu Pond 2026" at Ueno Park.
Get your gourmet experience even better! The gourmet event featuring food trucks showcasing local ingredients from all over Japan is back for its second edition at Shinobazu Pond in Ueno Park, and it's even better than before!
This event, based on the concept of "hometown cuisine," focuses on "gyoza" and "karaage," two classic Japanese foods loved throughout the country, and presents new flavors incorporating local specialties and creative twists from all over Japan. For the second edition, the quality of the gourmet offerings has been significantly upgraded through further improvements in the quality of carefully selected ingredients and the evolution of flavors by each vendor. The menu will be even more extensive, showcasing the best of the ingredients while highlighting the unique characteristics of each region. Delicious local gourmet food from all over Japan, from Kyushu in the south to Hokkaido in the north, will gather once again in Ueno.
The sweets selection is even better than before! In addition to the main dishes of gyoza and fried chicken, we have prepared an even more extensive lineup of sweets than last time, including shaved ice, gelato, and churros. Please enjoy this food festival that will satisfy people of all ages, from children to adults.
