Ueno Royal Museum “Monet Series Scenes” special tickets on sale September 20th

[Official exhibition website]

The "Monet Scenes from a Series" Tokyo exhibition (sponsored by Sankei Shimbun and others) will be held at the Ueno Royal Museum (Taito-ku, Tokyo) from October 20th (Friday). Ticket sales on the official ticket site "ART PASS" and various play guides, as well as date and time reservations on "ART PASS", will begin from 10:00 on Wednesday, September 20th. Special tickets (1) and (2) will also be on sale at the same time. All items are available in limited quantity and sales will end as soon as the quantity is reached.

Claude Monet (1840-1926) was a master Impressionist artist known for his use of soft colors and warm light. The works are presented as a series of works, focusing on the same place or theme, but depicting different weather, different times, and different seasons. This exhibition focuses on Monet's “series'', which are synonymous with Monet, and brings together over 60 works ( * ) from over 40 museums in Japan and abroad, including some that will be shown for the first time in Japan. This is a “100% Monet'' exhibition where all exhibited works are Monet.

* Some of the works exhibited at the Tokyo and Osaka exhibitions are different.

As this exhibition is expected to be crowded at the venue, visitors to the Tokyo exhibition will be asked to enter at separate times. We recommend making a reservation for a specific date and time through the official ticket site ART PASS, but a limited number of same-day tickets will be sold at the Ueno Royal Museum's ticket counter during the exhibition period.
