Ueno/Shinobazu Pond Light Art x Live x Food "Peace of Light" held on 10/21 (Sat) and 10/22 (Sun)

Ueno's new “autumn tradition'' – Shinobazu Pond is surrounded by light art for two days. Enjoy the art of light while walking around Shinobazu Pond!

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the opening of Ueno Onshi Park, the Ueno Tourism Federation (Taito-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Nobuhiro Nagaoka) will create a light art installation called “Peace of Light'' around Shinobazu Pond, an urban oasis in Ueno Park. We will be holding "Obright". In addition, there will be a music live "Peace of Live" where a mix of Western and Japanese music and sounds that transcend genres and borders will be held at the outdoor stage of the Water Concert Hall on the banks of Shinobazu Pond, and restaurants where you can enjoy Ueno's food and beer. The event "Peace of Beer" will also be held from noon.

Held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, and Sunday, October 21, 2023, from dusk to 10:00 p.m.

An art space of fantasy projection and light.

Light art will illuminate the entire lotus pond of Shinobazu Pond in Ueno Park and Bentendo Hall, as well as works by students from Kuromon Elementary School in local Ueno, which will be illuminated along the cherry blossom trees.

Held from 12:00 to 21:00 on Friday, October 20, 2023, Saturday, October 21, and Sunday, October 21, 2023

*Fukuki Yokocho and Nakamachi Street will be held from 15:00 to 21:00 on Saturday, October 21st and Sunday, October 21st.

Food and drink area open from noon. While watching the light art at Shinobazu Pond, enjoy Ueno's food and beer by the pond in between live performances.
