Each region in Japan has its own festivals that represent the region, and they are beloved symbols of Japan along with sake. It is said that the origin of festivals dates back to prayers for a good harvest before planting rice in the rice fields, and sake and festivals have been deeply connected since ancient times. The yeast used is “Mahoroba Hana” from Aomori Prefecture. The sake is made in the Tsugaru Plain, an area that has always been rich in water. The sake uses underground water from Mt. Hakkoda, giving it a soft finish.
