The Ueno Information Center (2nd floor, Matsuzakaya Ueno Store, 3-29-5 Ueno, Taito-ku / operated by Spart Co., Ltd.) will be selling new panda goods from Wednesday, May 29th to commemorate the twin giant pandas at the Ueno Zoo, Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei, turning three years old, and the twin giant panda Xiang Xiang in China turning seven years old!
In addition, a pop-up store for the Ueno Information Center will be held on the first floor of Matsuzakaya Ueno for seven days from June 12th (Wed) to June 18th (Tue)! The pop-up store will be selling new stuffed animals in collaboration with the long-established doll store, Yoshitoku. In addition, various panda goods to liven up your birthday will be available.
The Ueno Information Center will continue to develop various Ueno souvenirs and work to promote Ueno so that we can bring even more smiles to the faces of our customers.

Giant pandas spend most of their day sleeping or eating. In this relaxed daily life, we collaborated with Kiktoku, a long-established doll store in Taito Ward, to create a stuffed animal based on the motif of a particularly relaxed "sleeping and eating pose." We paid particular attention to not only the giant panda's unique "sleeping and eating pose," but also the expression on its face as it greedily eats bamboo shoots, the plumpness of its belly, and the appropriate size and weight. It's so adorable that you can't help but smile just by looking at it.
