The famous Dorayaki shop Usagiya will open for a limited time! Collaboration products will be available for the first time! Matsuzakaya Ueno store: The latest gourmet food

June 19th (Wed) to June 25th (Tue), 2024 Matsuzakaya Ueno Store, 1st basement floor and 1st floor Hoppe Town event space

 

Hoppe Town, the food floor of Matsuzakaya Ueno, is holding events featuring popular shops every week. Starting on Wednesday, June 19th, Usagiya, a famous dorayaki shop that has been in Ueno for over 100 years, will open a limited-time store during renovations! Special products in collaboration with Sakura Panda, the official mascot of Daimaru Matsuzakaya, will also be available! We will introduce the four hottest gourmet brands at Matsuzakaya Ueno.

A limited number of collaboration products with Daimaru Matsuzakaya’s official mascot Sakura Panda will be on sale! This special product features a bun with the perfect combination of the aroma of yam and light bean paste, branded with Sakura Panda.

This is Usagiya’s signature product, accented with a very soft bean paste made from red beans from Tokachi and a skin filled with lotus honey. We recommend eating it while it’s fresh!

 

Kisaku Monaka (6 pieces) 750 yen (10 pieces) 1,200 yen

This mochi has the stamp of the founder, Kisaku, printed in the center. The half-moon shaped charred shell is filled with smooth bean paste and sweetened red bean paste.

These shumai are made using Kyushu black pork, with a focus on sweetness and richness.

 

<Zangi Specialty Shop Oboro> Shiretoko Umami Shio Zangi (per 100g) 486 yen / 1st basement floor Hoppe Town Exhibition Hall

Made with chicken raised in the northern part of Hokkaido, these fried chicken dishes are delicious even when cooled.
