Starting on Wednesday, August 14th, NYC SAND, the shop that always has a line at Daimaru Tokyo, will be releasing a limited-edition flavor, “NY Orange Tea Caramel Sandwich.” In addition, Ashiya Waffle, a shop that specializes in the innovative sweet croffle, and other gourmet foods are appearing one after another! We will introduce the five hottest gourmet brands at Matsuzakaya Ueno.

The melting orange tea caramel is made by combining the refreshingly sour orange juice with the flowery, delicate aroma of Nuwara Eliya black tea leaves, and is then wrapped in couverture chocolate and sandwiched between butter-flavored cookies with an original branding mark.

A new crispy and chewy texture! Croiffles originated in France. Croissant dough is folded into multiple layers of butter, and then pressed and baked as is, creating a new type of waffle.
