First solo exhibition at Matsuzakaya! Exhibition and sale of 35 works with the theme of "light" dialogue Yonaha Daichi

The Matsuzakaya Ueno store will hold "dialogue <dialogue> Yonaha Daichi" from Wednesday, July 6th to Tuesday, July 19th at the art space on the 7th floor of the main building, which was newly established in March this year. Born in Okinawa City in 1967, Daichi Yonaha has graduated from Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts and Graduate School of University of Tsukuba, and has an atelier in Tsukuba City to present his works mainly in Tokyo. Mr. Yonaha, who has been sticking to traditional oil-painted canvas and has drawn works with the theme of "light" for more than 30 years, attracted attention in the "Smell of Light" series. In this solo exhibition, which is the first time for the Matsuzakaya Ueno store, 35 works will be exhibited and sold at the gallery of the department store in the middle of the city, where you can enjoy "Awai no Ma". The artist will be present on 7/6 (Wednesday), 9 (Saturday), 10 (Sunday), 16 (Saturday), and 17 (Sunday), so you can enjoy the work while directly asking your thoughts on the work.
