About Kani Douraku

1960 Established the Sanin seafood restaurant "Sengokubune", which is the company's founding store, and started the first step of Kani Douraku.

1961 The signature dish "Kanisuki" became very popular, and the crab dish became a hugely successful restaurant.
Research into cryopreservation of crabs was advanced, and with the cooperation of the fishery cooperative, the freezing method was successfully developed.

In 1962, he named his business Kani Douraku (currently the Dotonbori Main Store) with a desperate determination and reckless enthusiasm, saying, "I've made money with crabs, so I want to do my best with crabs." , opened in Dotonbori, Osaka.
